More about me
I grew up in Zhuzhou, China. After high school, I attended college in the beautiful and forest-like Huazhong University of Science and Technology, where I learned a lot of engineering knowledge, some finance and politics, plenty of sports, and worked with some wonderful mentors (Jianfeng Xu, Qiyu Peng, and Yi Fei). Somewhat unusually, I spent three months teaching in a middle school in Gansu (one provice in northwest China), and spent a summer working as the intern in SANY Heavy Industry Co.
When I moved to Santa Cruz, my free time (before 2020) was mostly split between local coffee shops, gyms, and running trails. I spent four years with the badminton team at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. We won the Wuhan college badminton league championship (2018), and twice semi-finals (2016-2017). I am a super tennis fan and have been a fan of the Simona Halep and Novak Djokovic (for many years).
